Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met at the residence of Maulana on Wednesday to discuss the ongoing political situation in the country.
PPP leaders Raja Pervez Ashraf, Nayyar Bukhari and Chaudhry Yaseen also attended the meeting.
Former federal minister Maulana Asad Mahmood also attended the meeting.
During the huddle, both leaders discussed the ongoing political situation and the upcoming elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
JUI-F Senator Kamran Murtaza also arrived at Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s residence to attend the meeting.
Bilawal Bhutto-PM Shehbaz meeting
Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss Pakistan’s economic and security situation. During the meeting, Bilawal shared his party’s suggestions on austerity measures and stressed the need for joint efforts to improve the country’s financial policies.
The leaders discussed Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to help resolve conflicts in the Middle East. During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his leadership and the government’s policies in handling difficult national and international situations
