The speculations regarding the marriage of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, are spreading very quickly all over the news and social media.
A source within the PPP confirmed to Geo News that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, along with his father and the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari and family, are in Vienna right now for engagement and marriage talks with the Austrian family.
The source said the family had travelled to Austria for a private visit and held meetings with members of a European family during their stay in Vienna. The discussions were related to a possible engagement and marriage, but no formal announcement has been made by Bilawal Bhutto.
According to the source, Asif Ali Zardari and his family have links to Austria’s former royal household.
The source claimed that the two families had met several times since President Zardari and Bilawal arrived in Austria.
The source within the party also added that President Zardari and Bilawal were expected to travel to the UK following their stay in Austria, where they could spend about 10 days.
Members of the Austrian family are also reportedly expected to join them during the visit.
The wedding could take place in Vienna later this year, as Bilawal and the Austrian princess have known each other for seven years and have been friends for a long period of time, said the source.
However, these details have not been independently confirmed by Bilawal Bhutto himself and the family till now.
The President’s office confirmed on August 27 that President Zardari had travelled abroad on a private visit but did not disclose its purpose.
Bilawal Bhutto age
Bilawal was born on September 21, 1988, so he is 37 years old right now.
Bilawal, who studied at Oxford University, has regularly travelled to the UK for political and private engagements. Other members of the Bhutto-Zardari family are also expected to be in London, according to the PPP source.
No official announcement about an engagement or marriage has been made by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari or the Zardari family.
Austrian princess
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is reportedly set to marry Gloria von Habsburg, a member of the Austrian House of Habsburg-Lorraine and a former Austrian princess.
According to media reports, she is reported to be the daughter of Archduke Karl of Austria and Francesca von Thyssen-Bornemisza, and a descendant of Karl I, her great-great-grandfather.
He was the last reigning Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary.
The Habsburg family ruled much of Europe for centuries and remains one of the continent’s best-known former royal dynasties.
However, neither family has officially confirmed an engagement or marriage.
