Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the “Marka-e-Haq” is a golden chapter in Pakistan’s history, in which the entire nation demonstrated exemplary unity, spirit, and determination.

On the completion of one year of success in the Marka-e-Haq, a commemorative ceremony was organised in Karachi under the Sindh government.

Addressing the ceremony held in connection with the Marka-e-Haq, the Chairman of the People’s Party said that during the battle, every Pakistani played their role wholeheartedly, while the Pakistani nation defeated the enemy on the battlefield.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that Pakistani diplomats also confronted the enemy effectively on the diplomatic front and delivered a clear message to the world that the Pakistani nation will not bow down.

He further said that this success is the result of national unity, sacrifice, and collective struggle, which the entire nation is proud of.

The ceremony was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, members of the assembly, senior civil and military officials, and other important personalities.

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem, and a documentary film related to the success of the Marka-e-Haq was also presented.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, while addressing the commemorative ceremony, said that a year ago India cast an evil eye on Pakistan, to which the entire nation and armed forces responded in unity.

Within a few hours, India was given such a response that it realised its true position. The whole nation was united at that time and faced the situation with full strength.

The Chief Minister said that India launched an operation and tried to blame Pakistan for it, whereas Pakistan is a peaceful country and has always advocated peace.

He said that in the first week of May, India carried out military action, but the Pakistani forces responded effectively and shot down several enemy aircraft, including Rafale jets.

These aircraft were considered a matter of pride for India, but the real importance lies in the capability of their pilots.

Murad Ali Shah said that even in rural areas, people were neutralising enemy drones, while Pakistan’s preparedness proved to be more effective compared to India.

Indian media carried out propaganda and created the impression that Karachi Port had been targeted, which was not true, whereas Pakistani media played a responsible role.

The Chief Minister said that the dispute between Pakistan and India has continued since 1947, and Pakistan has always adopted a defensive strategy.

Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto laid the foundation for making the country a nuclear power, while Shaheed Benazir Bhutto advanced the missile program.

He said that after the Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan has established its position globally and emerged as a strong country.

Pakistan has also played an important role in various global matters and, on some occasions, helped bring the United States and Iran to the same table.

In conclusion, he said that the entire nation stands with its armed forces, and the success of the Battle of Truth is a symbol of national unity.

At the ceremony, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said in his address that in the Marka-e-Haq, the Pakistan Army gave a strong response to the enemy, and this day was no less than Eid for the entire nation.

He said that Pakistan is a strong country and no one can cast an evil eye on it. The Pakistan Army has sent a clear message to the world that Pakistan is a powerful state.
