Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that while speaking to an international media outlet that, “no one can afford World War 3.”
Pakistan People Party (PPP) wrote in its official tweet on X, ” We believe peace through dialogue and diplomacy is the only way forward. No one can afford a World War 3 scenario, or a Great Depression, or the economic consequences of such a conflict. So we are all hoping that these talks succeed.”

US-Iran peace talks in Islamabad
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan is playing its best role as the “only” mediator between the US and Iran. Earlier, the peace talks between the US and Iran were held in Islamabad on April 11th and 12th. However, after the peace talks, the US Vice President JD Vance did a press conference and said that the talks went well, but “we failed to reach any agreement with the Iranians.”

Earlier, the White House confirmed the possiblity of peace talks round 2 in Islamabad again. The White House spokesperson said that Pakistan is the only mediator between the US and Iran.
