Bomb blast Islamabad

Atleast 30 people have been martyred and more than 100 injured in a bomb blast reported in a mosque in Tarlai, the outskirts of Rawalpindi, according to hospital sources.

The suicide bomber was intercepted before the bomb blast. Sources suggest that the bomber detonated the blast after seeing that he was being stopped.

Many deaths have been averted since the suicide bomber was intercepted.

If the suicide bomber had not intercepted on time, he would have gone to the main hall of the mosque, and a much bigger tragedy would have taken place.

However, it is still not confirmed how much damage has been caused.

Due to the blast emergency has been imposed in Islamabad’s hospitals like PIMS and CDA hospitals. The injured are being shifted to PIMS and the Poly clinic.

The DC Islamabad has confirmed that more than 30 people were martyred as a result of the blast and 101 are injured.

The Khawarij was standing in the last row of the mosque when he blasted himself.

State Minister Talal Chaudary is currently visiting PIMS at the direction of Mohsin Naqvi. Talal Chaudary has guided the hospital staff to provide as many facilities as possible to the victims of the blast.

An emergency has been imposed in Islamabad by the IG Islamabad.
