BOP announces student lottery campaign under CM Punjab interest free bike scheme

The Bank of Punjab (BOP) has announced a special lottery prize campaign for students under the CM Punjab Interest Free Bike Scheme on Wednesday.

The campaign will run from February 23, 2026, to April 23, 2026, for approximately an entire month. This gives interested individuals a better chance to take advantage of the campaign.

The offer is for students whose loans have been approved but are still pending digital acceptance and equity deposit.

Students have been advised to complete the required process to secure their bike and enter the prize draw.

How to apply: your step by step guide

To take part in it, the students must visit the official link and log in to their account.

First, you have to enter the CNIC and guarantor details. Then, deposit the equity amount to confirm your eligibility.

Afterwards, you have to complete the registration within 60 days to qualify for the lottery.

Users also need to accept the terms and conditions and deposit their equity amount. After completing the steps, they can take delivery of their bike.

Student lottery under Bike Scheme

Students who complete the process within 60 days of the campaign launch will qualify for the lottery.

Prizes include laptops, iPhones and LED TVs. However, it should be kept in mind that terms and conditions apply.

Prime Minister’s Electric Bike Scheme 2026

Separately, the Government of Pakistan has announced a plan to distribute 76,000 electric motorcycles this year under the Prime Minister’s Electric Vehicle Scheme.

The sceme is expected to promote eco friendly transport for the public.

Under the scheme, buyers will receive a subsidy of Rs80,000 for each electric motorcycle.

This will reduce the price for students, daily wage earners and low income workers who travel to work every day.

The application, verification and allocation process will be fully digital to ensure transparency and fairness.

Chief Executive Officer of the Engineering Development Board, Hammad Mansoor, said that the government has allocated Rs100 billion for the scheme over five years.

Rs9 billion has been set aside for the current fiscal year. He said subsidies will be given for about 116,000 electric motorcycles this year, while around 76,000 units are expected to be delivered by June.

Save upto Rs Rs50,000 to Rs60,000!

According to the details,  subsidised electric bikes will cost Rs50,000 to Rs60,000 less than market prices.

Users may also save up to Rs8,000 per month on electricity costs. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license.
