The Director General (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, issued an important update regarding the security situation in Balochistan on Wednesday.
Three major incidents of terrorism occurred in Balochistan, said the DG ISPR. He further added that during these attacks, innocent lives were targeted by the Fitna al Hindustan.
The military spokesperson also said that Fitna al Khawarij is targeting innocent civilians in Balochistan. He added that the security forces remain committed to stopping terrorism in the region.
According to the DG ISPR, a police checkpost in Ziarat came under attack during one of the incidents. He said security forces responded swiftly to the attack.
The DG ISPR said that security forces killed 15 terrorists in Ziarat during the operation. However, he added that 18 police personnel were martyred after the cowardly terrorists.
He further stated that the terrorists had kidnapped children. He added that the act was another example of their brutality.
A total of 42 security personnel embraced martyrdom during the three operations carried out in Balochistan, the DG ISPR said.
Additionally, 52 Fitna al Khawarij terrorists were killed in these operations. These attacks took place in Mangi Dam, Hanna Urak, and Ziarat.
The military spokesperson alleged that India was behind the recent terrorist incidents in Balochistan, accusing it of supporting terrorism in the province.
The DG ISPR praised the people of Balochistan and the police. He said that they had foiled the terrorists’ nefarious designs with courage and resilience.
He further claimed that Pakistan’s enemies cannot tolerate the peace, development, and prosperity in Balochistan.
Referring to the recent attack in Karachi, the DG ISPR claimed that the assault had been planned in Afghanistan.
Issuing a stern warning, the DG ISPR said that India would be held accountable for its actions. The DG ISPR issued a stern warning to India, saying, ‘We will make an example out of you.’
The DG ISPR also said that the Afghan Taliban regime is facilitating the terrorists, further adding that no power in the world can cast an evil eye on Pakistan.
Previously, at least 19 terrorists were killed, and 11 security personnel were martyred during an intelligence-based operation against Fitna al Hindustan militants on the N-25 highway in Balochistan, according to security sources.
According to the reports, terrorists of Fitna al Hindustan were blocking the road and collecting extortion from passengers and local citizens.
Due to the timely action of the security forces, 19 terrorists of Fitna al Hindustan who were collecting extortion were killed, and many were injured.
