Dr Nabiha has advised Pakistani men with family responsibilities to carefully consider marriage, saying that marriage is a major responsibility that should not be taken lightly.
Addressing Pakistani men who are responsible for supporting their siblings and raising children, Dr Nabiha said those who already have substantial financial and family obligations should reconsider whether they are ready to take on the responsibilities of marriage.
She urged such men to focus on their religious duties, including offering prayers, fasting and serving their parents, while warning them against entering marriage if they are unable to fulfill a wife’s rights and responsibilities.
Dr Nabiha further remarked that men should not marry if doing so could negatively affect or “ruin” a woman’s life due to their inability to meet the responsibilities of married life.
She had earlier declared that she was looking for khula, and even posted a video on her Facebook page in which she signed paperwork and put her thumbprint.
The post, titled “Khula ke papers bhjwa diye Haris ko,” became viral and left people speculating online.
The video also included the message ‘Mujhe dhoka mila hai’ (I am deceived) and further added to speculations of why their marriage had broken down.
Their controversy continued to make headlines for days, and many social media users were keenly following their every move.
But after a little more than a week of public bickering, the couple stated that they would reconcile.
Dr Nabiha later came out with the admission that she had withdrawn her khula case after consulting with famous religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel.
She claims that both she and Haris decided to overcome all of their issues and still be married. Their recent appearance in Murree has once again brought them into the spotlight.
The couple hasn’t made any new statements regarding their relationship, but their new video does seem to spark some discussion online, as many people believe that the couple is making a comeback and getting back together after their reconciliation.
