Earthquake tremors were felt in the border city of Chaman in Balochistan and its surrounding areas, triggering fear and panic among residents who rushed out of their homes for safety.
Due to the fear caused by the earthquake, citizens came out of their homes while reciting religious prayers.
According to the Seismological Centre in Quetta, the earthquake measured 3.1 on the Richter scale, with a depth of approximately 14 kilometres.
Officials said the epicentre of the quake was located around 120 kilometers away from Chaman. Initial reports indicate that no loss of life or property has been reported as a result of the earthquake.
