On April 27, an earthquake was felt in parts of Pakistan. It was felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Swat, Malakand and Abbottabad, as well as other parts of Pakistan.
The earthquake had a magnitude of 5.7, and it originated at a depth of 170 kilometres. The residents who felt the tremors said that they were strong enough to be felt inside the homes and buildings.
The residents of Malakand felt Earthquake tremors in Batkhela city. Shocks were also felt by Swabi city and its surrounding areas.

Shangla and its nearby localities were also affected by the earthquake and felt the tremors. Reports also suggest that tremors were also felt in Battagram, Mansehra, Upper Dir and Torghar.
The epicentre was located near the Afghan-Tajik border. On the Richter scale, the intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 5.7 and the depth was 170 kilometres.
This is the third earthquake in the month of April, the previous one coming on April 18. The previous earthquake was felt in Islamabad and parts of Pakistan.
Before that, on March 14, a similar incident took place in Karachi. Recently, Pakistan has been experiencing multiple earthquakes. However, it is not a cause for worry.
The earthquakes are not in any way connected and are just natural phenomena. The first earthquake in April came on April 3rd. That earthquake was felt in felt in Skardu, Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad and Peshawar.
