The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the schedule for the Intermediate Part-I (First Year) annual examinations 2026 along with the online admission process.

As per the notification, the Inter Part-I annual exams will start on April 28, 2026. Candidates can submit online admission forms with the normal fee until February 3. Forms with a double fee will be accepted from February 4 to February 12, while the last date to submit forms with a triple fee is February 24.

The fee schedule has been issued for regular, private, and improvement candidates. The examination fee for First Year is set at Rs2,700, while non-registered candidates will have to pay Rs4,200. The combined examination fee for First Year and Second Year has been fixed at Rs5,400.

A fee of Rs2,000 will be charged for correction in admission forms or roll number slips. However, orphan, disabled, and imprisoned candidates will be exempted from paying examination fees.

Earlier, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) announced the second annual results of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part I and Part II annual examinations 2025.

As per details of the board the overall pass percentage of regular candidates in Part I stood at 82.02 percent and regular candidates in Part II recorded a success rate of 71.76 percent.

 Among private candidates the pass percentage for Part I was 37.86 percent, whereas previous and private candidates in Part II achieved a success rate of 68.92 percent.

The combined pass percentage of regular and private candidates in Part I was 80.67 percent, while 69.70 percent of candidates passed Part II examinations overall.

The results are available on the official FBISE website. Result cards of Part I can be downloaded online, while Part II result cards will be dispatched by post.

Chairman FBISE Dr. Ikram Ali Malik congratulated the successful candidates on their achievement.

Click on the “Results” section and select the relevant exam, such as SSC or HSSC.
Enter your roll number or name to view detailed marks.
The result gazette can also be downloaded from the website.

SMS

For quick access, results are available through SMS.
Type FB followed by your roll number and send it to 5050.
The result will be sent to your mobile phone.

Students may also use the FBISE Islamabad Official App for result checking.

Meanwhile the Federal Board has decided to abolish the old curriculum and instead implement a comprehensive syllabus with immediate effect.

According to the Federal Board of Education spokesperson, the new curriculum has been prepared in accordance with modern educational requirements and international standards, which will significantly improve the academic and mental abilities of the students.

The announcement further states that the new curriculum will be implemented uniformly in all schools and colleges affiliated to the Federal Board across the country.
