Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has arrived in Tehran to attend the funeral of the martyred former Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The Field Marshal was received by the Interior Minister of Iran.

He was greeted warmly by the senior civilian and military leadership of Iran. The interior minister, Mohsin Naqvi, was also present.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, with the Pakistani delegation, has also reached Iran to attend the funeral of Shaheed Ayatollah Khamenei.
He will be attending the funeral ceremony. He will be staying in Tehran for one day.
