The FIFA World Cup 2026 will start with special opening ceremonies in all three host countries for the first time.
The tournament will be hosted by the United States (US), Mexico, and Canada. Instead of one opening show, there will be three separate but connected ceremonies.
These shows are expected to show the culture and traditions of each country and also highlight unity between them.

FIFA World Cup 2026 ceremony Pakistan time, performer list
The first ceremony will take place in Mexico City on June 11, just before the opening match between Mexico and South Africa. In Pakistan, it will be shown at 10:00 PM.
The Mexico event will include cultural performances. These will also show traditional and modern Mexican art. This includes the Indigenous dances and colourful displays.
Many international singers are expected to perform. These include Shakira, Burna Boy, Tyla, J Balvin, Alejandro Fernández, Lila Downs, Belinda, Danny Ocean, Maná and Los Ángeles Azules.

The match between Mexico and South Africa will begin at 12:00 AM Pakistan time on June 12.
The second ceremony will be held in Toronto, Canada, on June 12. It will take place before Canada’s first group match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Pakistan, it will start at 10:30 PM.
This ceremony will focus on Canada’s diversity. It will include music, dance and other performances that show different cultures living in the country.
Artists expected to perform include Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Elyanna, Jessie Reyez, Michael Bublé, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, Vegedream and William Prince.
The match between Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina will begin at 12:00 AM Pakistan time on June 13.
The final opening ceremony will be held in Los Angeles in the US. It will take place before the USA team plays its first match against Paraguay.
This event will start at 4:30 AM Pakistan time on June 13. It will include large stage shows and performances by global stars.
Performers may include Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, LISA, Rema and Tyla.
