Four Fitna al Hindustan terrorists killed in security forces operation in Balochistan: ISPR

Security forces carried out an intelligence based operation in Kalat district of Balochistan on January 12, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operation was conducted after reports about the presence of terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan.

ISPR said security forces effectively engaged the terrorist hideout during the operation.

After a heavy exchange of fire, four Indian sponsored terrorists were killed.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists.

The ISPR said they were involved in several terrorist activities in the area.

Sanitisation activities are ongoing to ensure no other terrorists remain in the area following the operation.

ISPR said the counter terrorism campaign under the vision of Azm e Istehkam will continue at full pace.

The campaign aims to eliminate foreign sponsored terrorism from Pakistan with the support of law enforcement agencies.

DG ISPR

Earlier, ISPR Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said the state has a clear stance against Fitna ul Hindustan and stressed that terrorists have no link with Pakistan or Balochistan.

While briefing on terrorist incidents in 2025, he said the year proved to be important and decisive in the fight against all forms of terrorism.

He said the war against terrorism is a national effort and added that strong and effective actions were taken like never before.

The DG ISPR said groups such as Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan have no connection with Islam.

He said a total of 75,175 intelligence based operations were carried out across the country in 2025.

This comes to an average of 206 operations each day.

The DG ISPR said India carried out an unprovoked attack against Pakistan and was given a strong response.

He said India suffered a clear defeat during Marka e Haq.

He added that after the defeat, India fuelled support for terrorism and is funding and backing terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan.
