In response to media inquiries regarding a statement made by India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi stated that India has been actively endorsing and funding terrorism operations from Afghan territory, such as Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan.
Andrabi indicated that India’s response signifies frustration over the dismantling of what he referred to as its ‘terrorist network’ in Afghanistan.
Andrabi stated, ‘The comments made by the spokesperson of India’s Ministry of External Affairs concerning Pakistan’s legitimate, targeted, and precise actions against terrorist hideouts and support bases within Afghanistan are not only absurd and unjustified but also shamefully hypocritical.’
Furthermore, the spokesperson condemned India’s human rights record, accusing it of being a ‘serial violator of international law’ and of unlawfully occupying Jammu and Kashmir in contravention of the UN Charter and pertinent UN Security Council resolutions.
The FO spokesperson of Pakistan further claimed that India has been accountable for ‘state terrorism’ in the contested region.

Andrabi also criticised India’s domestic and regional policies, asserting that the nation, driven by what he termed ‘Hindutva extremist ideology,’ is marginalising minorities, fostering Islamophobia, and weaponising water in breach of treaty obligations.
‘With such credentials, India is in no position to issue such statements and should instead concentrate on refraining from inciting terrorism within Pakistan from Afghan territory,’ he remarked.
The spokesperson reaffirmed that Pakistan will persist in taking necessary actions to defend itself and safeguard its citizens in accordance with international law, including the UN Charter.
Earlier, Pakistan, on Thursday, restated its request for verifiable assurances from Kabul that its territory would not be used for terrorist activities directed against Pakistan.
Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi stated, “As such guarantees have not been provided, Pakistan will maintain its current policy.”
