Job position
Administrative Assistant – Visa Section (Afghanistan Desk)
The selected candidate will assist embassy staff in handling visa applications and supporting administrative operations.
Key responsibilities
- Processing and conducting initial assessments of visa applications
- Interviewing applicants at the visa counter
- Entering applicants’ data into the electronic visa system
- Responding to queries via phone, email, or in person
- Providing translation and interpretation services
- Offering administrative support to the visa section
Minimum qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or relevant experience in administration
- Excellent English language skills
- Strong knowledge of Dari and/or German
- Proficiency in basic IT programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Candidates who know multiple languages or have higher proficiency levels will be given preference.

Job details

The contract will be governed under Pakistani labour law, and non-Pakistani applicants must provide a valid work permit.
Selected candidates will also need to pass a medical examination and security clearance by German authorities.
