Ghazab-Lil-Haq BLA militants

The operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq continues as Pakistani security forces have killed 14 militants linked to the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) during an intelligence-based operation in the Ornach tehsil of Khuzdar district, Balochistan.

According to officials, the operation was carried out in the Ornach tehsil after receiving information about the presence of suspected militants in the area.

A search and clearance operation followed, during which 14 BLA members were killed.

The development comes days after seven army personnel were killed in an attack claimed by the BLA.

Security officials say operations have been intensified across parts of Balochistan in response to recent attacks.

They add that more than 100 suspected militants have been killed in various operations in the province in recent weeks, though independent confirmation of the figures is not available.

Officials said the militants killed in Ornach were wanted in connection with several attacks on security forces and incidents targeting civilians.

During the operation, security forces cordoned off the area and searched suspected hideouts. Authorities say a quantity of weapons, ammunition and communication equipment was recovered.

There was no immediate statement from the BLA.

Balochistan has seen a long-running insurgency, with militant groups carrying out attacks on security personnel and infrastructure.

The government says it remains committed to restoring law and order in the province through security measures and development efforts.
