The federal government has announced Eid ul Fitr holidays as the holy month of Ramzan is about to end. According to the notification issued by the federal government, March 20 and 21 are public holidays throughout the country.
However, Pakistanis can enjoy four days as Eid holidays. As per the official notification, March 20 and 21, which are Friday and Saturday respectively, are off. At the same time, Sunday is a public holiday on March 22.
In the notification issued by the federal government on March 23, there is another public holiday to celebrate Pakistan Day. So, Pakistanis can enjoy four Eid ul Fitr holidays this year.
All offices and schools will be closed
After the government notification, all public, private schools, universities, and offices will remain closed during Eid ul Fitr holidays. During Eid ul Fitr holidays, several people will travel from big cities to their villages to celebrate Eid ul Fitr with their families.
On the other hand, several people during Eid ul Fitr holidays will also go for different trips to spend a good time with family and friends.
Transporters increase fares during Eid ul Fitr holidays
At the same time, transporters raised the fare for travelling during Eid ul Fitr holidays. Transporters in Islamabad and Rawalpindi raised the fare and travellers in both cities are facing difficulty to travel back to their villages during Eid ul Fitr holidays.
However, people are also happy after the government announced Eid ul Fitr holidays as the Pakistanis will enjoy the Eid ul Fitr days peacefully with their families and friends.
