Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam has moved up one spot to sixth place in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI batting rankings, highlighting a strong showing by Pakistani players.
Babar improved his ranking with 689 rating points, rising from seventh position. Meanwhile, all-rounder Salman Ali Agha also made notable progress, climbing two places to reach 16th position with 630 points.
The latest rankings reflect continued improvement from Pakistan’s top-order batters, with both Babar and Salman making gains on the global stage.
Former Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan remains in 31st place with 560 points, while Fakhar Zaman has slipped one place to 37th. Saim Ayub’s position remains unchanged at 44th.
In the ICC ODI batting rankings, New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell continues to lead the table with 802 points, followed by India’s Shubman Gill in second place and Virat Kohli in third.
In the bowling rankings, Pakistan’s left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has climbed two places to seventh, while Haris Rauf has also moved up two spots to 20th.
Naseem Shah has dropped two places to 49th, while Mohammad Wasim Jr. has risen one place to 70th. Mohammad Nawaz remains in 80th place.
