The Higher Education Commission and Pakistan Software Export Board have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate HEC’s degree verification system with PSEB’s upcoming national digital workforce platform, aiming to improve digital credential verification and strengthen links between academia and industry.
The agreement will allow students’ and professionals’ academic credentials to be verified digitally, improving transparency, credibility, and trust in digital hiring and talent development initiatives. It will also support the creation of Pakistan’s first national verified digital talent repository, featuring authenticated profiles of students and IT professionals.
The platform is expected to help local and international employers access a trusted pool of verified talent, making recruitment more efficient while expanding employment opportunities for Pakistan’s digital workforce. According to HEC, the collaboration is part of broader efforts to build a data-driven ecosystem that promotes skills development, graduate employability, and the country’s digital transformation.
