How many seats are left under the private Hajj scheme?

Around 80% of bookings under Pakistan’s private Hajj scheme have been completed, with 15,000 seats remaining, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has said.

Private Hajj pilgrims have deposited Rs57.5 billion in dues so far, according to a ministry spokesperson.

Of the total amount, Rs30 billion was collected through One Link PSID and bank cards, while Rs27.5 billion was deposited through manual bank challans.

The spokesperson said the cost of sacrifice, amounting to Rs55,000, has been included in this year’s Hajj packages.

The ministry has urged private Hajj pilgrims to complete their bookings as soon as possible through the official mobile application or Hajj portal.

Pilgrims have also been advised to pay their dues only through the official Hajj portal or the Pak Hajj application.

The spokesperson warned that the ministry would not be responsible for payments made directly to any individual or company.

With only 15,000 seats remaining, prospective pilgrims have been advised to complete the booking and payment process through authorised channels to avoid complications.
