The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Talent Hunt Ramzan T20 Inter-Club Cricket Tournament will officially commence on March 3.
According to tournament details, a total of 10 teams will compete in the event, divided into two groups.
This year, CDA has invited the top eight cricket clubs from various zones of Islamabad, providing them a valuable platform to showcase their talent.
In addition, two teams from across Pakistan have been selected through open trials and included in the competition, further enhancing the tournament’s competitive spirit.
CDA Chairman Randhawa has directed that all cricket grounds in Islamabad be equipped with modern facilities to ensure a high-quality sporting environment for players and spectators alike.
The initiative reflects CDA’s broader vision to encourage youth participation in positive activities, particularly during the holy month of Ramzan.
Tournament format
The tournament will follow a league format, with each team scheduled to play four matches.
Pool A comprises Minister XI, I-8 Asif Memorial, G-10 Janoon, G-8 Warriors and G-9 XI Star.
Pool B includes Chairman CDA XI, G-7 Lucky Star, F-11 Ghauri, G-6 Sherpao and F-8 JJ.
Matches will be played across three different grounds in Islamabad, creating an exciting cricketing atmosphere in the capital throughout Ramzan
The CDA Talent Hunt Tournament is expected to not only identify emerging cricket talent but also foster community engagement and promote a healthy lifestyle among residents of Islamabad.
