The Punjab government has started distributing financial assistance under the Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Ration Card initiative. Here is how to withdraw Rs10000 from the CM Punjab Ration Card.

According to officials, eligible beneficiaries are receiving text messages from the Bank of Punjab (BOP) confirming that Rs10,000 has been released in their name.

Only those who receive an official message are able to withdraw the amount.

The programme is aimed at providing relief to low-income workers, including those registered with Punjab Social Security.

The government of Punjab has also released a detailed video on how to withdraw cash from the Ration Card at their official YouTube channel.

What is CM Punjab Ration Card?

The ration card initiative is part of the provincial government’s effort to support workers and daily wage earners facing financial pressure.

Authorities say the assistance is being provided in phases to registered individuals.

Beneficiaries are informed through an SMS sent to their registered mobile number. The message includes details required to collect the payment.

Who can receive the payment?

The payment is available to people who:

  • Are registered with the Punjab Social Security
  • Have received an official SMS from the Bank of Punjab
  • Have a valid Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC)

Without the official message, the payment cannot be processed.

How to withdraw Rs10,000?

Eligible individuals can follow these steps to collect their cash:

  1. Carry your original CNIC to the payment agent.
  2. Visit a designated branchless banking agent such as HBL Connect, UBL Omni or Alfa Pay.
  3. Show the SMS received from the Bank of Punjab.
  4. Provide your registered mobile number.
  5. Share the six-digit PIN code mentioned in the message with the agent for verification.
  6. Complete biometric verification.

Once the transaction is successful, you will receive a confirmation message on your mobile phone.
