Achakzai, Allama Nasir Abbas meet doctors treating Imran Khan

Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Mahmood Achakzai and opposition leader in the Senate, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, have confirmed that they met the doctors who are treating Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, Imran Khan.

Mahmood Khan Achakzai said while speaking to the media that the doctors informed him about Imran Khan’s health.  According to Mahmood Khan Achazai, doctors confirmed the improvement in Imran Khan’s health after the treatment. The doctors said that Imran Khan can now clearly see the hands of the clock.

Similarly, the leader of the opposition in the Senate, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, also confirmed his meeting with the doctors treating Imran Khan. According to Allama Raja Nasir, the doctors confirmed his presence during the treatment of Imran Khan, but he is not qualified to comment on medical matters.

Imran Khan’s medical report

According to the medical report of PTI founder Imran Khan, the 73-year-old former prime minister underwent a detailed medical examination on February 15, 2026.

A special medical board conducted the check-up.

The board comprises Professor Dr Nadeem Qureshi from Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital and Professor Dr Muhammad Arif Khan from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).

The report confirmed that Imran Khan’s central macular thickness has reduced from 550 to 350. It indicated a marked improvement.

The vision in his affected right eye has improved from 6/36 to 6/9. The doctors stated that the situation was satisfactory at the current stage.

Without glasses, his right eye vision was recorded at 6/24. And the left eye was 6/9. With corrective glasses, the right eye improved to 6/9, and the left eye reached 6/6.
