Fresh details about the upcoming GT series phone from Infinix have surfaced online, giving a clearer idea of what users might expect. The information is based on leaks and reports, and the company has not yet confirmed any official launch plans.
The device, believed to be the Infinix GT 50 Pro, was recently spotted on Geekbench. A new report has now shared possible design details and key specifications. Taken together, the leaks suggest that the brand is continuing its focus on gaming-style smartphones.
The leaked render shows a striking look that follows the GT series style. The back panel appears to feature a diagonal pattern similar to carbon fibre. At the bottom, green LED lights shaped like claws give the phone a clear gaming feel. The design stands out and does not try to blend in with simple flagship phones.
The camera setup is placed in the upper left corner on the back. The phone is shown in a dark colour with glowing accents, adding to its gamer-focused appearance.
High refresh rate display and faster chip
On the front, the GT 50 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution. The display may support a 144Hz refresh rate, which is often preferred by gamers for smoother visuals. Slim bezels are also expected on all sides.
Under the hood, the phone is tipped to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor from MediaTek, paired with up to 12GB RAM. Storage options could include 256GB and 512GB variants.
In terms of cameras, the rear setup may include a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation. It could also feature an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and another 8-megapixel sensor. A 13-megapixel front camera is expected for selfies and video calls.
The phone is said to run on Android 16 and may include several AI-based features. It is also tipped to pack a large 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired and 30W wireless charging support. Reverse charging may also be available.
If launched, the GT 50 Pro will follow last year’s GT 30 Pro, which also focused on gaming performance with a high refresh rate display and a powerful chipset. While the latest details offer a strong preview, the final specifications will only be clear once Infinix makes an official announcement.
It is expected that the Infinix GT 50 Pro may cost around Rs140,000 in Pakistan.
