Samsung S26 Ultra leaks reveal price, design changes

Samsung S26 Ultra price and design leaked

Samsung appears to be quietly reshaping its pricing strategy in Pakistan as it prepares for the launch of the Galaxy S26 series. The price of the Galaxy S25 Ultra has recently dropped to its lowest level since launch in the local market, a move widely seen as an attempt to clear space for the next flagship lineup.

The timing has fuelled fresh speculation around the Galaxy S26 Ultra, with several reports suggesting that its launch price in Pakistan could be close to, or even lower than, what the S25 Ultra cost at the time of its debut. While this has surprised many buyers, it is important to note that these claims are based on leaks and early reports. Samsung has not yet shared official pricing details for Pakistan.

Pricing leaks point to unexpected shift

Most of the recent pricing chatter comes from Europe. According to German publication WinFuture, Samsung plans to standardise 256GB storage across the entire Galaxy S26 series. This means there will be no 128GB variant, even for the base model.

The Galaxy S26 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is reportedly priced at 11,990 Swedish kronor. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 launched at 9,990 kronor for 128GB and 10,990 kronor for 256GB. This suggests a modest increase, likely driven by higher component costs, especially memory chips.

The S26+ is expected to follow a similar pattern, with its 256GB version reportedly priced the same as last year, while the 512GB variant may see a slight increase.

The real surprise is the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Leaks claim the 256GB variant could launch at 16,990 kronor, lower than the 17,990 kronor launch price of the S25 Ultra. If accurate, this would mark a rare move at a time when smartphone prices are generally moving up.

Design leaks

Alongside pricing, design details of the Galaxy S26 Ultra have also surfaced. Images shared by well-known leaker Evan Blass, showing the phones inside UAG cases, offer a near-final look at the lineup.

Samsung S26 Ultra rear design and camera bump

The S26 Ultra is expected to move away from the sharp, boxy look linked to the old Note series. Instead, it may feature rounder corners, bringing it closer in style to the standard and Plus models. All variants are said to adopt a pill-shaped camera island, with only one sensor directly attached to the back panel on the Ultra.

The leaked images also hint at Qi2 wireless charging support and slimmer bezels, though these details cannot be fully confirmed yet.

For now, all eyes remain on Samsung’s February 25 launch event. Until then, buyers in Pakistan should treat both pricing and design details as unofficial.
