US President Donald Trump, while commenting on the ongoing situation with Iran, told American journalist Trey Yingst that Iran has shown a lot of flexibility and understanding in recent talks.

He said that Washington is continuing the process of talks with Tehran, and the current developments show that Iran’s stance has softened compared to before.
However, the US President warned that if Iran targets US ships, it will face a strong response.
Trump said that the US Navy is busy protecting ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz so that global trade is not affected.
He said that US military bases in the region are fully equipped with all kinds of necessary equipment and resources and can be used immediately if needed.
He added that the US is fully prepared to deal with any potential threat and will take all necessary measures to protect its interests.
At the same time, he once again emphasised that Iran should resolve problems through negotiations instead of increasing tensions, reports say.
