The Iranian delegation will be attending the second phase of the Islamabad talks on April 21.

According to CNN, the Iranian delegation will arrive in Islamabad on the night of Tuesday for peace talks with the US.

As per the media reports, the head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Committee, Ebrahim Azizi, has also announced that Iran will continue a dialogue with the US, but under specific conditions.

He said, “The ongoing negotiations do not imply Tehran is ready to agree ‘at any cost’ or accept any demands from the other side. Iran has established clear red lines that must be respected throughout the process.”

The delegation of Iran will be headed by the Speaker of the Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, along with other important leaders.

The news of the arrival of the delegation from Iran has been a positive step towards peace.

It was highly expected that Iran would not be taking part in the talks with the US, as the US Navy on Monday struck the Iranian cargo vessel.

The cargo vessel was warned by the US Navy not to surpass the blockade and was struck by the forces in the Gulf of Oman.

The US President, Donald Trump, has also claimed to take complete control of the Iranian ship.

He said, “We’re supposed to have the talks. So I would assume at this point nobody’s playing games. They’re heading over now. They’ll be there tonight.”

The delegation includes the special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who is also the son-in-law of Trump.
