Iran coach calls Iranian team most oppressed in the World Cup

According to the coach of the Iranian team Ghalenoei, Iran is the most oppressed country in the World Cup.

The Iranian players were informed that they had to travel back to Mexico immediately after the end of their opening game on Monday in Los Angeles.

According to the coach the arrival of the Iranian team to the US was delayed and they had to leave early also without any time for recovery.

The coach talked with journalists after Iran played its first match against New Zealand which was tied at 2-2.

The coach revealed that the team did not receive any explanation for the reason of changing the departure schedule.

According to the previous schedule the team had been allowed to remain in the United States until Tuesday lunchtime.

The coach further said that the situation for the Iranian team is becoming more and more difficult. However, the team will not let these hurdles dishearten them from doing their best.

Before the start of the World Cup there were even doubts as to whether Iran will be participating in the World Cup due to the war between Iran and the US.

However, they played their opening game against New Zealand on Monday in Los Angeles just after a peace deal between US and Iran was announced.

The deal brings an immediate and permanent end to military operations on all fronts.

The original base of the team was supposed to be in Tucson, Arizona but due to the tension between the United States and Iran, the base was also moved to Tijuana in Mexico.

Mehdi Taremi, the star striker of Iran also slammed treatment faced by his team. He called the treatment they face a disaster.
