Today, January 15, is the last day for Islamabad vehicle owners to obtain M-Tags.
The deadline for vehicles to obtain M-Tags expires today.
However, in order to facilitate the people, 24-hour M-Tag services are available at Chungi No 26 and the 17 Mile Toll Plaza.
So, if you want to get your vehicle registered today before the deadline, it is advised to visit the M-Tag service at Chungi No 26 and the 17 Mile Toll Plaza.
To support the imposition, the administration has installed M-Tag readers at 12 entry points and checkpoints across the federal capital.
Vehicles without M-Tags will be identified as they enter the city. Irfan Memon stated that the system is ready and will be fully operational once the deadline has passed.
Officials warned that vehicles without M-Tags will be stopped at checkpoints. Additionally, further action will be taken under the relevant rules.
This move will help to ensure that all vehicles in the capital are properly registered under the M-Tag system.
