The deadline to apply for jobs in Islamabad Police and the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has been extended to September 14, 2026. Candidates got the opportunity to have more time to complete and submit their applications.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced the extension through a post on X. He encouraged young men and women from across Pakistan to apply for the available government jobs and take the opportunity to serve the country.

NCCIA vacancies announced
- Sub-Inspector BS-14
- Technical Assistant BS-14
- Stenotypist in BS-14
- Upper Division Clerk BS-11
- Assistant Sub-Inspector posts BS-09
- Constable and Constable Driver jobs BS-05
The current recruitment drive includes vacancies in the Islamabad Police Law and Order Division as well as the NCCIA. The available positions range from BS-05 to BS-14.
Earlier recruitment showed 48 Sub-Inspector, 36 Assistant Sub-Inspector and 174 Constable positions. There were also 15 Technical Assistant, eight Stenotypist, six UDC and 64 Constable Driver vacancies.
What is the eligibility criteria?
The required education depends on the position. Qualifications listed for different NCCIA posts include Matric, Intermediate, bachelor’s degrees and relevant Computer or IT qualifications. Applicants should carefully check the requirements for the specific position before submitting an application.
Physical and running tests are also required for certain uniformed NCCIA posts. According to the recruitment details, male candidates for these posts must complete a 1.6 kilometre run in seven minutes, while female candidates are given 10 minutes.
How to submit applications?
Applications can be submitted online through the National Police Foundation Testing and Assessment Service (NPF-TAS). The revised deadline is September 14, 2026.
The NCCIA’s official careers page also confirms that new recruitment opportunities are currently open and directs eligible candidates to its recruitment system.
