The road blockages placed by law enforcement agencies earlier in the federal capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, have now been removed after the end of the PTI sit in, according to the latest reports.
It was reported earlier that traffic may still take some time to return to normal because roads remained closed from 2:30 PM on May 19 until late at night. Motorways have also been reopened for traffic.
According to updates, the Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is expected to hold a press conference at KP House, Islamabad, around 2 PM today.
Due to the press conference, roads leading to KP House may again face blockages. Access to the Red Zone is also likely to remain restricted. In addition to this, only one or two entry gates are expected to stay open.
Authorities have also confirmed that there is no public holiday today.

Traffic jam on Srinagar Highway in Islamabad
Yesterday, the traffic jam on the Srinagar Highway crossed over to the motorway in Islamabad.
According to the post on X, formerly known as Twitter, since 02:30 PM, all entry points towards Islamabad and Rawalpindi coming from the M-1 motorway have been closed due to the protest of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).
Yesterday, law enforcement agencies remained busy clearing road blockages in Islamabad during the protest.
Authorities also requested CM KP Sohail Khan Afridi, who was leading the protest crowd, to call off the demonstration.
Due to the road closures and heavy traffic, many students missed their exams. While many of the passengers were unable to catch their buses and flights.
Ambulances carrying patients were also stuck in traffic during the situation.
While speaking to the Pakistan Connect correspondent, the residents of Islamabad said that the protest has caused severe hardships, as people were left stranded.
The locals said that ambulances with patients are still stuck in the traffic jam.
