Hollywood director, James Cameron, has permanently moved out of the United States, expressing disappointment at the Trump administration.
The ‘Avatar’ director said his decision came after observing how Donald Trump handled the COVID-19 pandemic during his first term.
During an interview on the ‘In Depth with Graham Bensinger’, he said that he would rather live in a place that is ‘sane’ and believes in science.
The ‘Terminator’ director expressed deep admiration for New Zealand and its government, noting that the country had eliminated the virus completely.
Later, he said that the country had a vaccination rate 36 percent higher than what was observed in the United States during the same time.
In his closing notes, the director shared that he made the move to protect his sanity, not just for the scenery.
