Jazeera Airways has announced the resumption of its commercial flight operations between Pakistan and the Gulf region, with services set to restart from April 7.
According to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the airline will operate flights to and from Karachi via Dammam, for continued connectivity for passengers and cargo.
CEO Barathan Pasupathi stated that the airline is committed to maintaining travel services during challenging circumstances.
Initially, two weekly flights will be available on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
He further said that the restored route will facilitate smoother passenger movement while also supporting cargo operations essential for regional supply chains.
The airline is leveraging its integrated model, combining air and ground transportation through Dammam and Qaisumah, to sustain operations and enhance connectivity.
Pasupathi also thanked Kuwaiti and Saudi authorities for their cooperation, saying that the airline’s dedication to ensuring uninterrupted passenger and cargo services across its network.
Qatar Airways announces revised flight schedule
Qatar Airways yesterday expanded its flight schedule to more than 90 destinations including Pakistan, as services gradually return to normal.
According to details, the airline plans to operate dozens of additional flights over the next 15 days.
The airline announced a revised schedule and it shows a steady increase in flights to and from Doha as operations stabilise.
Sources said inbound flights from the Middle East remain packed. Outbound flights, however, are seeing lower passenger numbers.
The update, valid until April 15, 2026, includes additional frequencies across its global network. Flights now cover destinations on all continents.
In a post on X, the airline said all flights to and from Doha are operating through dedicated corridors. These routes are being managed in coordination with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.
Passengers with confirmed bookings on updated flights will be contacted directly. They will receive revised travel details.
Travellers have been advised to check the airline’s website or mobile app. They should ensure their contact information is accurate.
The airline also urged passengers not to reach the airport without a confirmed ticket. It said schedules may change due to operational or regulatory reasons.
Under flexible travel measures, passengers booked between February 28 and June 15, 2026, can change travel dates free of charge. New dates can be selected up to October 31, 2026, subject to availability.
Passengers may also request refunds for unused tickets. Processing may take up to 28 days.

Over the past 28 days, more than 2,400 flights were cancelled across Pakistan. At Allama Iqbal International Airport, at least 11 flights were called off.
