Justin Bieber made his highly anticipated debut as a festival headliner at Coachella, hosting a listening party that led to his major streaming increase in almost a year.
The following day, fans flocked to digital platforms to experience the performances once more. As per initial data from Luminate, Bieber gained 24.6 million streams in the U.S. on April 12 alone.
Surpassing his previous records, the Baby hitmaker achieved a remarkable milestone by reaching 125 million monthly listeners on Spotify for the first time, becoming the fourth artist to achieve such a huge success.
He chose a more minimalist and intimate atmosphere, resembling a casual garage gathering rather than a large stadium performance.
In one of the most discussed moments of the weekend, Bieber engaged with a laptop and browsed through YouTube. He took live requests from the audience, performing along with nostalgic clips of his younger self, reviving hit songs such as Beauty and a Beat and “Never Say Never” in a reflective, nostalgic experience.
Although the set began with him alone, it concluded with a series of collaborations. Justin shared the stage with Tems, WizKid, and Dijon, before joining Mk.gee for a haunting, guitar-driven rendition of Daisies to wrap up the evening.

In the other slide, Eilish included an image of a whiteboard she had illustrated with a purple marker, where she rewrote the lyrics to Aqua’s 1997 hit “Barbie Girl,” along with information about Bieber’s birthday and his birthplace in Canada.
