The violent protests erupted in different parts of Srinagar, including Batmaloo, HMT and Nowgam, as protesters threw stones at the vehicles of Indian forces. At the same time, Indian forces use tear gas and gunfire to disperse the protestors. The cowardly Indian forces forced citizens to close their shops.
The residence also confirmed that the situation remained stressful the entire day. However, the locals’ reports verified that there is a visible anger in the youth of Kashmir against Indian forces. The locals expressed fear that if Indian forces don’t stop their brutality, the protests could be escalated.
Earlier, several reports confirmed that the number of missing persons in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir has increased. Several young people have been abducted by Raw and other Indian agencies.
Missing persons in Kashmir
According to credible sources, around 7141 cases of missing persons have been reported in 2023. This number was 3813 at the end of 2020. So, the numbers are gradually increasing in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
“These figures highlight a disturbing trend and underline the urgent need for transparency and accountability in the region,” said human rights analysts.
Human rights activists in India and Pakistan are demanding the safe recovery of the missing persons. On the other hand, the families of the missing persons are also waiting for justice to prevail.
Similarly, the officials from the UN also raised concerns about the current situation and peace and justice in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).
