'We have targeted the site where Khamenei was': Netanyahu claims amid Israel-Iran tensions

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a public address on Saturday, claimed that Israel targeted the site where Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei was last seen during the opening attack on Iran amid the Israel Iran war.

Netanyahu further stated, “This tyrant has spread terrorism across the world and was the architect of the plan to destroy Israel. This plan has been destroyed completely.”

Netanyahu urges Iranians to ‘mobilise in large numbers’ to overthrow the regime

Eatlier, Netanyahu spoke to the Iranian people, saying that the attacks will assist them in “liberating themselves from oppression”.

He said that they possess a “once in a generation opportunity” to overthrow the Iranian government. “Mobilise in large numbers” and “accomplish the task”, he urged.

Netanyahu further commented on the ongoing Israel Iran war, “It is about time you come together and “unite for a historic mission”.

Trump claims operation in Iran may either go long or end in two or three days

US President Donald Trump further commented on the Israel-Iran ongoing conflict.

There are multiple alternatives for “off ramps” to de-escalation following the US military operation in Iran, according to Donald Trump.

“I can either extend my involvement and take control of the entire situation, or I can conclude it within two or three days and inform the Iranians: ‘We will meet again in a few years if you begin to reconstruct (your nuclear programme),” he stated.

This marks the first occasion on which the US president has addressed the operation since the announcement of the strikes on Saturday morning.

He indicated that he ultimately made the decision to authorise the strikes due to the halt in nuclear negotiations this week.

“The Iranians approached an agreement and then retreated, approached again and then retreated once more. I interpreted that as a sign that they are not genuinely interested in reaching a deal,” he added further.
