Khyber Pakhtunkhwa officers dominate Pakistan’s top bureaucratic posts

For the first time in the country’s history, the Chief Secretaries of four provinces and regions are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A unique and historic milestone has been achieved in Pakistan’s administrative history, as officers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are serving in the top administrative positions in four major provincial and regional units of the country.

This remarkable development reflects the dominance of competence and merit in Pakistan’s administrative structure, proving that professionalism goes beyond provincial boundaries.

According to the details of the appointments, Shahab Ali Shah is currently serving as the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Shakeel Qadir Khan is holding the position of Chief Secretary in Balochistan.

Similarly, Arshad Mohmand is overseeing the administrative affairs of Gilgit-Baltistan, while Khushal Khan is serving as the Chief Secretary of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
