The City Traffic Police Lahore has extended the operating hours of all licensing offices to improve public convenience and reduce rush at service centres.
Under the new schedule, all licensing facilities in Lahore will now remain open from 8:00 am to midnight. This will give citizens more time and flexibility to apply for driving licences and get related services.
Lahore currently has 12 licensing testing centres and 33 licence facilitation centres, which provide driving licence and document-related services across the city.
Chief Traffic Officer Syed Abdul Rahim Sherazi announced the new timings during a high-level meeting. DSP Licensing, heads of all licensing centres, and other officials also attended the meeting.
Officials reviewed the performance of the licensing system and discussed ways to improve service delivery for applicants.
They said the extended timings will make services more accessible, speed up the process, and help reduce overcrowding at busy centres. The new schedule will now apply to all licensing offices in Lahore.
