The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted predominantly dry weather across the majority of the country for the next 24 hours, although cold and partly cloudy conditions are expected in mountainous regions.
According to the PMD, isolated areas in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir may experience light rain and thunderstorms, along with light snowfall in higher elevations.
Daytime temperatures in the plains are projected to be above normal.
Dry weather predicted in weather forecast
In Islamabad and its neighboring regions, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected, with gusty winds likely to occur in the afternoon.
Throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, mainly dry and partly cloudy weather will dominate in most districts, while the upper regions will remain relatively cold.
There is a possibility of light rain and thunderstorms, with snowfall in higher altitudes at isolated locations in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kohistan, and Bajaur.
In Punjab, dry weather is anticipated in most districts, with warm conditions expected during the day.
Gusty winds may be present in the plains during the afternoon, while the upper and central districts may experience partly cloudy skies.
Murree, Galliyat, and nearby areas are likely to remain partly cloudy, with cold conditions expected in the morning and at night.
Low temperatures expected at night
Sindh is expected to undergo hot and arid conditions in the majority of its districts.
In Balochistan, predominantly dry temperatures are predicted across most areas, although the northern and western regions may see partly cloudy skies.
Chilly temperatures are expected during the early morning and nighttime hours.
At the same time, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir might experience partly cloudy daytime, with isolated instances of light rain and thunderstorms, as well as light snowfall in the higher mountain areas.
