Mahira Khan fans are excited as they might be able to see their favourite actress on screen once again and this time it may be on an international screen alongside Emmy and Oscar winning famous British-Pakistani actor Riz Ahmed.
Riz Ahmed recently made an appearance on the BBC Asian Network with Haroon Rashid where a discussion about Ahmed’s career started.
During the conversation Riz was questioned about starring opposite a star from Pakistan. The host asked, “Why haven’t you done anything with Mahira Khan? I think you’d look great together.”
At this Ahmed responded with enthusiasm saying that he is ready, he is here and he wants to make it happen.
His enthusiastic reply quickly caught viewers’ attention and spread across social media widely. This has created excitement among both British and Pakistani fans.
Further fuel was added to the speculation when Mahira Khan herself posted a story on Instagram saying that she is ready to signalling that the potential collaboration has mutual interest from the both parties.
Although nothing is confirmed the fans have already started being excited and anticipating what can come next.
Mahira Khan is an already established star in the Pakistani film industry. Her recent movie with Fahad Mustafa, Aag Lagay Basti Main was a massive hit.
She also starred in Pakistan’s most successful movie The Legend of Maula Jutt with Fawad Khan.
Before that in 2017 she also worked in Bollywood in a film called Raees with none other than the global super star Shah Rukh Khan.
Other than films she has also done some very notable TV shows which include Humsafar, Sadqay Tumhare, Shehr-e-Zaat and Bin Roy.
As of now there is no project confirmation, however both actors have shown interests which has sparked hopes in fans.
