Punjab delivers Ramazan package with dignity Azma Bukhari

The Punjab government has announced a series of concerts from May 8 to 10 to commemorate Marka-e-Haq, provincial Information Minister Azma Bukhari said.

Speaking about the celebrations, she revealed that a grand concert will be held at Liberty Market on May 8 and 9, while Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will attend a prestigious ceremony on May 10.

Azma Bukhari stated that the sentiments of the provincial cabinet and assembly members reflect those of every Pakistani. She described the occasion as a year of success achieved within just a few hours on May 10.

The minister said that Pakistan forced an enemy six times larger to its knees, calling it a case study for the entire world. She emphasised that wars are not won merely with weapons, but with determination and spirit.

She further said that the passion and resolve possessed by Pakistan’s armed forces are unmatched and play a vital role in safeguarding the country.

Paying tribute to the martyrs, Azma Bukhari said she, along with the Chief Minister, honours their sacrifices. She added that the day will be officially celebrated as a national festivity.

First anniversary of Marka-e-Haq

The Field Marshal earlier congratulated the nation and the armed forces on the completion of the commemorative year of the Marka-e-Haq. He called it an important milestone.

He said it reflects national unity, resolve, and commitment to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty at all costs.

The forum stated that observing the Marka-e-Haq at the national level sends a clear message that Pakistan is united, strong, and fully prepared.

It also said the event reflects strong coordination between the people, government, and armed forces.
