A recent meeting between renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil and TikToker Kashif Zameer is going viral on social media.
In the video, TikToker Kashif Zameer can be seen presenting a Rolex watch to Maulana Tariq Jamil, who received the gift.
Kashif later shared the video on his official Instagram account. Soon, the video started to go viral and gained widespread reactions online.

Netizens react
After the video surfaced, many social media users criticised Kashif Zameer. Some users suggested that the watch shown in the video appeared to be a replica rather than an authentic Rolex.
Maulana Tariq Jamil also faced criticism from some users. They questioned whether a religious leader who often speaks about religion should accept such expensive gifts.
Others jokingly referred to the watch as a “Folex” and accused Kashif Zameer of giving a fake watch.
Maulana Tariq Jamil is one of Pakistan’s most well-known religious scholars. He is popular for his sermons, motivational speeches and discussions on Islamic teachings.
He also frequently makes headlines due to his meetings with personalities from the entertainment, business, political and digital media sectors.
Fraud case filed against TikToker Kashif Zameer
Previously, the TikToker had been accused of cheating a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officer out of Rs1.9 million.
The complainant, Dost Muhammad, who works with the CTD in Karachi, has said that Zameer took the money by promising to arrange a visa and travel to Italy.
Further, he said that they had become friends on TikTok about two years ago. He added that Zameer even stayed at his house in Karachi.
According to the First Information Report (FIR) against him, Muhammad gave around Rs2 million to Zameer a year ago to help him go to Europe.
