Admit cards for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will be issued from August 6, according to new guidelines released for candidates appearing in the examination.

Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the University of Health Sciences (UHS) website. These cards will be issued to the students from August 6, 2026.

The UHS has made it clear that candidates will not be allowed to sit the MDCAT without their admit card and an original identity document.
Students must bring either their original CNIC, Juvenile Card, or passport to the examination centre.
The university said B-Forms, birth certificates, and driving licences will not be accepted as proof of identity.
Candidates will also not be allowed to bring mobile phones, smart or digital watches, or any other electronic devices into the examination centre.
However, students may carry a transparent clipboard, two blue ballpoint pens, and a transparent water bottle.
The UHS has advised all candidates to follow the guidelines carefully to avoid any inconvenience on the day of the examination.
Sindh MDCAT 2026 exam schedule
The Sindh MDCAT 2026 will be held on Sunday, August 16, under the supervision of Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS).
According to STS, examination centres have been set up in Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Larkana, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Islamabad.
In Karachi, the test will be held at NED University of Engineering and Technology. Candidates in Hyderabad will appear for the exam at Public School Latifabad.
Other examination centres include Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in Jamshoro, Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur Public School in Mirpurkhas, Police Training School Ground on Wagon Road in Larkana, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology in Shaheed Benazirabad, and IBA Public School on Old Airport Road in Sukkur.
The MDCAT will be three hours long. Candidates have been advised to reach their examination centres on time. They will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the test ends.
