Meezan Bank Limited is preparing to introduce two new Shariah-compliant card products.

As per the management of Meezan Bank, two Shariah-compliant cards, Meezan Charge Card and Islamic Financing Card, will be introduced to customers, and the launch date is expected in 2027.

The development was disclosed by the bank’s management during its 2026 analyst briefing, where executives also discussed the bank’s financial performance, deposit growth and expansion plans.

The proposed cards are intended to operate differently from conventional credit cards and have already received Shariah approval.

The Meezan Charge Card is currently undergoing a soft launch, while the Islamic Financing Card remains under development.

The bank is expected to complete the remaining development and rollout process before the products are commercially launched.

The bank had 1,150 branches by June 2026 and plans to add another 100 branches by the end of the year.
