Mishi Khan has urged the Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, to take action against a social media TV anchor who harassed a girl at her workplace in Lahore.

The issue started after a video went viral on social media. In the video, an anchor can be seen entering a room, reportedly a massage centre, and questioning a girl who was hiding under a bed.
According to the reporter, a man escaped from the room through a window before the anchor entered.

The anchor repeatedly asked the girl personal questions and accused her of wrongdoing. He also questioned her about her income and family. He could be seen trying to get her to come out from under the bed. Also, he could be seen trying to shove the mic in front of her face so she would talk and could be heard.
The girl repeatedly asked the people in the room to leave her alone and said nothing wrong was happening.

Mishi Khan seeks CM Punjab’s help
Reacting to the video, Mishi Khan strongly criticised the anchor’s behaviour. She said no one has the right to enter a person’s private room and publicly shame them.
She called the incident alarming and questioned how the anchor was allowed to behave in such a manner.
Mishi Khan said the girl was clearly scared and uncomfortable. But the anchor continued asking questions and pushing a microphone toward her while she hid under the bed.
“I mean, for God’s sake, who are you people? You break into someone’s room and ask them what you were doing here. I mean, do you have any shame?” she said.
“What evidence do you have?… This is simply shameful!” she said. Adding that such people should be behind bars.
She also criticised the invasion of privacy shown in the video. Netizens have reacted to the video, sharing similar thoughts.
Mishi Khan is a Pakistani film actress, television actress and TV host. She is famous for playing the titular role in the PTV drama Aroosa, which was her debut serial.
She went on to star in numerous hit PTV dramas, which have made her a household name. The actress can be seen speaking against harassment and other social issues on her social media accounts.
