The Indian government summoned Meta officials over the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s selfie video regarding NEET paper leaks from Facebook, the international media outlet reported on Wednesday.
Several social media users criticised the Modi government for staying silent on the major and genuine issues of the country, including poverty, paper leaks, and farmers’ suicides.
Earlier, Modi made a selfie video in which he spoke about paper leaks in the country, and a day later, Meta removed the video from Facebook. The Modi government summoned Meta officials and demanded an explanation for the act.
However, Meta officials told the Indian government that it was a technical problem and restored the video.
However, the masses are raising questions about Modi’s priorities as the government’s lack of focus on genuine issues can be seen clearly.
Earlier, Delhi police arrested India’s opposition leader Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi at Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) protest outside Narendra Modi’s residence in Delhi, the private media outlet reported on Tuesday.
The opposition leader and chief of India’s largest opposition party, the Indian National Congress, Rahul Gandhi, demanded the resignation of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the brutal violence on innocent students at Jantar Mantar.
Rahul Gandhi wrote in a social media post that Modi must resign for “destroying the future of India’s youth.”
