Multan gas loadshedding: Check latest schedule here

Gas supply will remain suspended in several areas of Multan on Thursday, October 1. The gas loadshedding schedule in Multan has been announced due to pipeline maintenance work.
According to a notification issued by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), the work will be carried out at the Canal Crossing in Mailsi.

Where will gas not be available?

The gas supply will remain suspended from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM on October 1.
The affected areas include:
  • Tibba Sultanpur
  • Maitla Chowk Thattha
  • Sadiqabad
  • Mailsi
  • Dunyapur
  • Karor Pakka
  • Nearby areas
SNGPL has advised residents in these areas to make arrangements during the maintenance period.

What is the loadshedding schedule in Karachi?

Previously, a gas loadshedding schedule was announced for different areas of Karachi.
Under the schedule, domestic consumers will get gas during specific hours. Supply will remain suspended during some peak-demand hours and at night.
According to the schedule, gas supply will be suspended during the following hours:
  • Morning: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Afternoon: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Night: 10:00 PM to 5:30 AM the next day
Consumers will generally receive gas during the early morning, midday and evening hours outside these suspension periods.

LPG price hits Rs500 per kg in Peshawar

LPG prices in Peshawar have increased sharply. Dealers are reportedly selling LPG for Rs450 to Rs500 per kilogram. The official price is Rs260 per kilogram.
The high prices have raised concerns among consumers who are already facing higher household expenses.
According to a report, LPG dealers in different parts of Peshawar are charging their own rates. The notified price remains Rs260 per kilogram.
Consumers said they are being forced to pay much more than the official rate. They also complained that there has been little action against dealers accused of overcharging.
The report said LPG is being sold for Rs450 to Rs500 per kilogram in several parts of the city.
Consumers have also called for regular checks of LPG outlets to ensure that dealers follow the official price.
