The Multan Sultans have returned to the league after franchise changes and rebranding in early 2026. The team was previously known as the Sialkot Stallionz.

The Multan Sultans have officially returned to the Pakistan Super League with new owners before the PSL 11 season.
The franchise was earlier known as the Sialkot Stallionz. It has now been renamed Multan Sultans.
The announcement was made during a joint press conference at Gaddafi Stadium. Salman Naseer, Hamza Majeed and Gohar Shah attended the event and shared details.
Salman Naseer said that Gohar Shah requested the name change from Sialkot Stallionz to Multan Sultans. He said the franchise was renamed after completing all legal and administrative steps.
He added that the decision was taken to improve the league’s brand and give better entertainment to cricket fans.
The new owners said they want to build a strong team. They said special attention will be given to player selection and the management system.
