Actress and show host, Nadia Khan recently shared her review about Sajal Aly’s Zanjeerain drama during an episode of the show Kya Drama Hai.
She said, “This is a major project from Hum TV. They invested a lot of money into it. The cast is impressive, you could say it’s a high-profile cast. The pairings are nice, the locations are good, and the characters are well-developed, yet I’m not finding it enjoyable. It lacks engagement, and especially in the absence of Usman, it’s hard to stay interested.”
“There were moments without Usman, and they didn’t grab my attention. The screen becomes uninteresting as soon as Usman is not present. He brings a unique energy that none of the other actors have. I need more, this isn’t enough for me. The scenes aren’t hitting me. The pairings are solid, Daniyal, Sehar, Sajal, Ameer but I can’t pinpoint what’s missing”, she added.
Nadia Khan continued, “Perhaps I’m more of a commercial viewer. I’m still holding out hope, but it hasn’t managed to win me over yet. Yes, the only memorable moment for me was Simi Raheal’s impactful appearance. This show feels like it’s from 6 to 7 years ago, it doesn’t feel relevant today. The frames are nice and the shots are lovely, but something is off.”
